About me

Ana Melentijevic, born in 1994 in Užice, Serbia, is a cinematographer and photographer. She completed her Master's degree in the Camera Department at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade in 2020. 

As a cinematographer,  she has contributed to various projects including TV series, short films, music videos and documentaries, many of which have been showcased at local and international film festivals, earning recognition and awards.

Some of Ana's notable works include "Silence" (2017), "Days Lost" (2021), and "Monarch". In 2021, she participated in the Sarajevo Film Festival Talent Campus/Camera studio, mentored by Miloš Jaćimović. The following year, she collaborated with Mir Media Production on her first feature fiction film, "Mudbrick", directed by Nikola Petrović, which premiered at Terror Molins: Festival de Cine de Terror de Molins de Rei in Barcelona, Spain in November 2023. The film had its domestic premiere on 15th of January at MTS Venue in Belgrade, Serbia.

She is currently working on a series in development with LGBTQ+ themes, Gravity of the Rainbow, produced by Nađa Lapčević and Anđela Lazić. Her latest short fiction film, Only God Uses Telegram, directed by Jovana Avramović and produced by Biberche production company, is supported by the Film Center Serbia (FCS) and is currently in post-production.

Based in Belgrade, she looks forward to further projects in her field.
